On September 24th, 2021, animation TikToker^[1] @cartoonimations posted a video showing a pancake with a two dots and a line for a face and stick figure arms and legs bouncing up and down to a song that goes, "I'm a pancake, I'm a pancake." The video gathered over 5 million views and 740,000 likes in four years.

The audio from the clip saw some usage between 2021 and 2024, as seen in an October 10th, 2021, recreation by TikToker^[3] @a_sprinkle_of_sam, and a May 4th, 2024, makeup video by TikToker^[4] @makeuppbyruthie.

TikToker^[2] @yllan.gueguin posted a CapCut greenscreen version of the video on August 8th, 2025, gathering over 9,000 likes in a week.

On August 10th, 2025, TikTok^[5] by @multnomah_falls posted a video where the dancing pancake is shown greenscreened onto a video of Multnomah Falls in Oregon. The video gathered over 1.9 million plays and 140,000 likes in four days.

On August 10th, TikToker^[6] @dtadave posted a video of the dancing pancake with the caption, "Just (when) I was getting over the lizard. Now this pancake 🤣" The video gathered over 700,000 plays and 50,000 likes in four days.

Also on August 10th, TikToker^[7] @alextodorov1995 posted a "I'm a pancake" video captioned, ""You're awfully quiet.
What's going on in that brain of yours?" That brain of mine," gathering over 1 million plays and 60,000 likes in four days.
