From Planking, to Cone-ing, to Milking. "-ing" has been used massively to make something into a meme and have others follow the trend no matter how embarrassing or useless. The meme rarely ever dies out and often times gets revived due to the amount of people who have done/are willing to do it, since the trend can get more and more views if the stunts are being done in a competition to see who can do it the best.
