About
The interruptor memes are memes that are involved in interrupting comments or images. There have been various types of interruptors on the web.
The "Freakazoid!" character Candlejack has been frequently been used in 4chan's boards as it makes it seem as anyone who mentions his name gets captured by him so the sentence is stopped in mid-sentence
Example:
“Who is Candlejack anywa”
“All of these Candlejack jokes aren’t fu”
Hypnotoad is a reccuring minor character in the television series "Futurama", and like Candlejack, the Hypnotoad meme cuts off comments in mid setence. Instead of just ending the comment, it then ends in "ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!"
The Kanye West Meme is based off the rappers infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Using Kanye has been used in single images where Kanye and text are spliced in to the image.
The HNNNNNNG meme is essentially based on the effects of a heart attack. It started on 4-chan boards where people would post a picture of an old man clutching his chest in pain while having the their comments being interrupted by the said word.
This meme originated from the Gamefaq fourms for the video game "Red Dead Redemption". This is referencing the fact that the cougars in the game are very hard to kill and can kill you very easily. This interruptor is performed by simply typing text and then having being cut off by * mauled by cougar * or * cougar'd *
Example
So how do i unlo*Mauled by a Cougar*
Ive never been killed by a cou*gets cougar’d*
