Jon Gruden Creepy TikTok refers to a viral video posted on TikTok by former NFL head coach and analyst Jon Gruden in which he praises the play of several quarterbacks around the league. On October 4th, 2024, Jon Gruden posted a TikTok[1] praising several NFL quarterbacks' performances from the previous week of football. Gruden, seated in a dark room, excitedly praises multiple quarterbacks and says they have him feeling "really nicey" before playing a snippet of the song "Nicey" by HEXED and Kimati and rocking back and forth. The video gained over 700,000 views in three days.

The video struck many viewers as comically unnerving. It began going viral on Twitter / X following an October 7th, 2024, repost by user @austingayle,[3] who wrote, "Jon Gruden's TikTok era is frightening," gaining over 2,600 retweets and 25,000 likes in one day.
In a follow-up tweet, they posted multiple unnerving screenshots from the TikTok, gaining over 1,500 likes in the same timeframe (example shown below).
On the same day, October 7th, Twitter user @Billyhottakes[4] joked that Gruden was turning into the "Alex Jones of football," gaining over 220 retweets and 3,800 likes in one day. Gruden's "terrifying" TikTok was also covered by the New York Post[5] on October 7th.
On October 8th, 2024, Twitter user @FourVerts[2] posted a slightly edited version of the TikTok, gaining over 100 retweets and 1,300 likes in less than one day.
