About…

Knuckles' infinite jump is a glitch present in version 1.0 of Sonic Boom: Ryse of Lyric. It is only possible to perform it with Knuckles and in order to perform it, Knuckles must first jump, press the Y button, then the player must pause the game and unpause, which will allow Knuckles to perform another jump and, if done in succession, allow infinite jumps and skip large portions of levels / entire levels.

Origin

On November 11, 2014, Sega released Sonic Boom: Ryse of Lyric for the Wii U. It is a spin-off of the main Sonic series and is part of the Sonic Boom series. The game, similar to Sonic 2006, was released with a number of bugs, including an exploit that allows Knuckles to jump infinitely.
