Early iterations of the meme spread with references to english culture like their Premier League football teams or their Rugby teams. For example, a joke about England's Rugby team appeared in the Huffington Post on April 10th, 2015.^[2] Twitter on September 2nd, 2012 in a post by @redleaflet,^[1] making fun of a far-right English activist group (shown below).
