Let's Go Boys refers to a photograph of a mustachioed man wearing perforated sunglasses styled like the flag of the country of India. Underneath the man's face is the caption, "Let's go boys."

Origin

On March 16th, 2015, the Facebook account ironyisdeaditsmemecemetary posted an screenshot from a Snapchat. The screenshot featured a mustachioed-man wearing perforated sunglass with the flag of India printed on them. Underneath the man's face is the caption "Let's go boys." The post (shown below) received more than 30 reactions and 20 shares.[1]

Roughly two years later, on February 17th, 2017, Facebook account memeboygenius[3] posted a cropped version of the original picture, receiving more than 1,300 reactions and 200 shares in about five months.

On June 30th, 2017, the Instagram account @super.weenie.hut.juniors posted the image with the caption "when you see a clean street," alluding to the potentially racist joke that India has a problem with people defecating and urinating in public. The post (shown below) received more than 4,300 likes.[2]

That day, the Facebook account livinginchinaironically posted the same image, garnering more than 2,700 reactions and 415 shares in two weeks.[4]
