Several internet users noted the odd image choice, with X^[2] user @skymutsuko writing, "surely there were other photos available" on March 17th and gathering over 158,000 likes, and X^[3] user @badtweetbri writing, "this is how the meryl streep martin short relationship should’ve been announced with a pic of them and steve martin," gathering over 54,000 likes in two days.
