The Original Video Meme commonly referred to as the "Make Me Your Radio" was an animated remix of Car Radio (by Twenty One Pilots) and Stereo Hearts (by Gym Class Heroes). The video depicts one character lamenting over the loss of his car radio when he's interrupted by a second character singing "my hearts a stereo." As the first character contemplates his next actions, the video gives you enough time to realize the connection. It then cuts to show the second character shoved into the empty car radio spot as he sings "Make me your radio!"

Origin/Spread

This animation trend originated on YouTube Shorts by a creator known as Dude Dans. In early January of 2023, Dude Dans posted the original meme on both his YouTube and TikTok account. The video went viral almost immediately. Within a few weeks the original YouTube post had nearly 40 Million views; however the spread of the meme didn't stop there. With the success of this new meme, other animators decided to jump on the trend. The Original video was remixed (someone used the sound to make their own video) nearly 30,000 times on YouTube and another 10,000 times on TikTok, which helped share this meme to tens of millions of new viewers.
