Making Piss is a TikTok trend in which participants lip-sync to an original remix of the song "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace. In the videos, the creator mouths the words, "I can't talk right now. I'm making piss." The person in the video then chugs water, and thus, referring to drinking liquids as "making piss" or generating urine.

Origin

On December 23rd, 2020, TikToker @oldmanbuns published the earliest known "Making Piss" video. In the clip, the TikToker fills glasses of water and drinks from them as the camera circles him. The post received more than 3.5 million views, 702,000 reactions and 7,400 comments in less than three months (shown below).

The following week, others on TikTok began taking the sound clip and posting their own versions of the video in their own style.[1] On December 26th, TikToker @macpeepeepoopoo posted a version of the video, which received 1.5 million views, 195,000 reactions and 1,000 comments. In this version, the TikToker drinks while tensing his face and water drips from his mouth (shown below, left).

On December 30th, 2020, TikToker @gregglz, who is known on TikTok for chugging large quantities of liquid, posted a version of the meme. The video received more than 6.5 million views, 1.5 million reactions and 19,000 comments in less than two months.
