The earliest known upload of the Mason Troy Adams video was posted by YouTuber^[1] YaBoyMike on March 23rd, 2021, gaining over 5,700 views in a year. In the video, a young boy named Mason Troy Adams is seen through a security camera holding a garden hose. A woman, assumedly his mother, talks to him through the camera and asks him to water the plants for her. He then sprays the camera and she yells, "Mason!" as he continues spraying the camera with water.

The video was reuploaded by multiple YouTubers^[2][3] that year, including Copper Wire and Zinc Wire Gaming and Callameme, the latter gaining over 11,000 views in six months. It was posted to /r/youtubehaiku^[4] in December 2021.

On December 14th. Twitter^[8] and TikTok^[9] user @p0werm3lon posted a version of the video where an untooned drawing of Bart Simpson fades into and across the screen as Adams sprays the camera. On December 20th, TikToker^[5] @therealtrisgarr reposted the video, gaining over 22,000 views in three months (shown below). The edit was also posted by now-deleted TikToker @fugalcarp, which was reposted to Instagram^[7] a day earlier on the 19th.

On March 9th, 2022, TikToker^[6] @pedrofromyfriendpedro posted footage from the mobile skateboarding game True Skate using a board with an image of the realistic Bart Simpson on it, using the audio from the Mason Troy Adams video, gaining over 146,000 views in a week (shown below).
