Megamogging refers to a series of Cartoon Glow Up parodies depicting the character Megamind from the movie of the same name drawn with typical looksmaxxing features, such as a chiseled jawline and a dead-eyes stare. The art is often paired with a scene from the film in which the character Minion asks Megamind if he is wearing a cologne called Jean Paul Gaultier's "Pour Homme."

On January 16th, 2024, TikTok user @nbseeder[1] posted a slideshow of doodles in which Minion asks Megamind if they are wearing "Jean Paul Gaultier's 'Pour Homme,'" with the final slide showing Megamind with typical Looksmaxxing features. The TikTok gained over 473,000 likes in two months (screenshot shown below).

On January 18th, 2024, TikToker @artbybamuel,[2] who grew popular with numerous "Cartoon Glow Up" TikToks, posted their take on nbseeder's template, gaining over 2.7 million likes in two months (shown below). They also used the phrase "Moggermind" in the caption, which proved to be the word used in future iterations of the meme.

Over the following months, others on TikTok and YouTube posted Cartoon Glow Up fan art of Megamind or made edits of the actual scene. For example, on January 19th, TikToker et.lineart[3] posted their take on the trend, gaining over 188,000 likes in two months (shown below, left). On January 22nd, user @eijiediez[4] did the same, gaining over 138,000 likes in the same time frame (shown below, right).
