New Adventure! Let's Go! refers to a comic depicting Link from The Legend of Zelda series running up to a living skeleton to fight it, only to be stabbed in the gut and killed, the skeleton saying, "Welcome to Dark Souls, bitch!"
Origin
On December 15th, 2016, Fnkzz posted the comic to imgur[1] with the title, "skeleton ahead but Hurrah for skeleton!" garnering over 18,000 views and 1,300 upvotes in 4 years (shown below). This is the earliest known upload of the image, and notably features the text "Here is Dark Souls, bitch" rather than "welcome to."
