Nobody Does It Like Sig Nu is a catchphrase inspired by a Snapchat viral video featuring a sweaty young man dancing at a party and saying, "Nobody does it like Sig Nu," in reference to the American college fraternity Sigma Nu. A Snapchat banner text across the video reads, "TOLVA / Nobody does it like Sig Nu" ("Tolva" purportedly being the man's last name). The video began making the rounds on Instagram as early as August 2024, as well as in the Twitter SEC college Burnerverse in February 2025.

Origin

The earliest known video of the sweaty young man dancing at a party while saying, "Nobody does it like Sig Nu" is an August 20th, 2024, post on the Instagram page @OldRowLSU, an Instagram^[1] page dedicated to older and more established fraternities at Louisiana State University. The post showed a blurry screen recording of a Snapchat video that had a banner that read, "TOLVA" and "Nobody does it like Si Nu." The post gathered over 7,000 likes in six months.

The catchphrase "Nobody does it like Sig Nu" began making the rounds online after the aforementioned video went viral, often alongside posts about activities undertaken by members of the Sigma Nu fraternity.

On February 11th, 2025, Twitter / X^[2] user @SMseacrest posted a screenshot of an Instagram page for a man named Andrew Tolva alongside text that read, "Nobody does it like sig nu!!" The post gathered over 1,000 likes in two weeks.

X^[3] user @lloyd_turn posted a clearer version of the "Nobody does it like Sigma Nu" video in the replies to the previous post, gathering over 200 likes in two weeks.

The video and the catchphrase continued to gain traction online in February 2025, with X^[4] user @ernestpringle69 posting a screenshot of a Sigma Nu frat chapter inviting women from the Alpha Phi sorority to a Valentine's Day party. The post gathered over 2,000 likes in 10 days.

On February 20th, X^[5] user @lilwayne_kerr posted a version of the Bro Explaining meme template alongside text that read, "So then while he is dancing he says 'Nobody does it like Sig Nu.'" The post gathered over 4,000 likes in a week.

On February 22nd, 2025, X^[6] user @white.boy.pledge posted a meme that showed Shane Gillis showing something to Haliey Welch on his phone. The post gathered over 4,000 likes in four days.

On February 23rd, TikToker @white.boy.pledge posted an attempt at a 99% Accuracy recreation of the "Nobody does it like Sig Nu" video, gathering over 400,000 plays and 43,000 likes in three days.
