Alistair McConnachie is a Scottish political activist who is the leader of A Force for Good, a Scottish political group advocating the maintenance of the United Kingdom and against Scottish independence

McConnachie was a member of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) but was expelled in 2001 due to his denial of the Holocaust.

He formed the Independent Green Voice, a minor environmentalist political party in Scotland in 2003.

In 2012, he formed A Force for Good, to campaign a positive voice for Scotland in the United Kingdom

McConnachie has been criticised for being a Holocaust deniar and was expelled from UKIP in 2001.

A Force for Good

As leader of A Force for Good, McConnachie has been mocked for his appearances at Scottish independence marches in an attempt to hijack the march by using a megaphone and standing on a platform wearing a dirty Union Flag shirt.

McConnachie and his group have also been mocked for fabricating attendance figures of marchers at Scottish independence marches claiming that there are lower numbers of supporters than that are actually reported.

Daz Man

Daz Man refers to the nickname given to Alistair McConnachie by Scottish independence supporters due to his shirts that he wears during his appearances at Scottish independence marches.

When a Scottish independence march took place in Dundee, Scotland, a Scottish independence supporter handed McConnachie a box of Daz which was pictured. Shortly afterwards, the photo spread on social media.
