Origin

The first thread made by chesse20 was how to buff the winger, where he suggest buffing the TF2 weapon "Winger", which is notable for being underpowered, by allowing it to give the player wings. The thread has since acquired 100+ posts, and was the breakthrough thread that boosted him to fame, with the "wizard update" series giving him infamy.

His first thread, "how to buff the winger", was and is regarded by SPUF critics as one of the best threads in any VALVe forum.

The thread series that boosted him to SPUF and internet fame was the "wizard update", a 6-day update made by chesse20 himself that was full of absolutely unbalanced yet hilarious (to TF2 players).

Eventual ban

Somewhere in 2011, he was banned for obvious reasons. Many wept at the loss of their great comrade, but he was resurrected as will be explained further on in the article.

It is now his current deviantart name, his current SPUF name (though not as famous as his previous), has garnered an amazing 1:12 post:reputation ratio, compared to his rough 35:25 post:reputation before. His new account utilizes his deviantart account, uploading poorly drawn yet critically acclaimed images.
