Granddad Frank is an Irish-born American TikToker known for his dance and trend videos. He is among the many popular elderly users of the platform, amassing more than 6 million followers as of March 2021.

History

Granddad Frank launched his TikTok account in 2019.^[1] On November 8th, he published his first available video in which he performed the "Lovefool" dance challenge. Within two years of its publishing, the video received more than 143,000 views in less, 23,000 reactions and 740 comments (shown below).

The following week, Granddad Frank went viral on the platform with a video in which he performs the song "Yeah" by Usher using the his oven door. The video received more than 3.4 million views, 200,000 reactions and 1,200 comments in less than two years (shown below, left).

Less than a year later, on September 28th, 2020, the TikToker published his most popular video to date. His video set to "What You Know About Love" received more than 22 million views, 4.2 million reactions and 136,000 comments in less than six months.
