Helloween4545, also known as Ween, Weenie or simply Ben is a British YouTuber and Twitch Streamer best known for his humorous Let's Plays of horror-themed video games.
Online History
Helloween4545 started his Let's Play career back in March 2008, when he uploaded videos of himself playing American McGee's Alice onto the Penny Arcade Forums. After the first few videos, the viewers suggested that he upload the videos onto YouTube instead.
On the 17th March 2008, Helloween4545 uploaded his first part of his American McGee's Alice Let's Play to YouTube.
One of the key aspects of Helloween4545's Let's Plays was audience participation, were he would get the audience to vote on character classes, plot points and character upgrades; as well as carrying out any experiments viewers asked him about.
Retirement from Let's Plays and Streaming
On 21st June 2019, Helloween4545 announced that he would be retiring from making Let's Plays from YouTube to move onto streaming instead.
The reasons for this were due to no longer having the spare time he once had due to working full time, as well as the medication he has been taking for cluster headaches leaving him feeling lethargic.

Fucking Ladders: Due to the difficulty of ascending down ladders in older First Person Shooter (FPS) games, Helloween4545 would often fall off of them to his death. This happens at such a high frequency that they have become his unofficial nemesis and is often joked about as being scarier than the actual content of the game he is playing.
Goodies in the Toilet: This meme stems from an observation that bathrooms in horror games will always contain ammo, health or key items for the player; no matter how logical this may or may not be. Helloween4545 is the main inspiration for the corresponding page over on TV Tropes.
Rants: One of the standout points of his Let's Plays are his explosively creative rants when a particular game mechanic or situation draws his ire.
Chipmunking/Fast Forwarding: Instead of cutting footage, Helloween4545 will sometimes fast forward instead so the audience can still watch him failing the same task or backtracking without there being a sudden jump cut. This is often done to emphasise how long it actually took him to accomplish the task, whilst taking up the least of the audience's time as possible.
Due to the high-pitched, squeaky voice this process gives him, it has been dubbed "chipmunking" by both Helloween4545 and his fans.
Mr Shotty Originating from his original Let's Play of F.E.A.R., Mr Shotty refers to any weapon that is a shotgun, or has similar characteristics to one. Mr Shotty is often given mythical attributes and is said to be able to defeat any foe.
Party Bodies/Partyhalla: Party Bodies are the name given to any dead body with ragdoll physics that experiences a glitch where they get stuck in the geometry or scenery of the level and begin to "dance". When a body completely glitches out of the game's level, it is said to have ascended into Partyhalla, where its soul will party for eternity.
This is most prevalent in his Replays of F.E.A.R. and Dead Space 2, due to the physics being bound to the frame rate which was running higher than the default 60fps.
Bob: When encountering a area plastered with a vast and unreasonable amount of blood, Helloween4545 will often blame the mess on a fictional character called Bob, who is often given a Russian accent and is accused of being obsessed with smearing tomato sauce all over the walls.
Impressions: During his Let's Plays, Helloween4545 will sometimes start to roleplay as various fictional characters, with the most common ones being Skeletor and Solid Snake.
Reception
As of January 2020, Helloween4545's YouTube Channel has received over 54 million views and has around 48'800 subscribers. His Twitch Channel currently has 7'400 followers as of January 2020.
