About
Mikennemonic is a former Let's Player and currently a Streamer on both Hitbox and Twitch. He tends to let's play and stream old games and RPG Maker games with a few non-gaming content in the mix. His streams are interactive since he can talk to the chat and take suggestions of games and links, some of which provide some quirky material for his own streams. His username comes from a misspelling of "Johnny Mnemonic". His avatar is of a pianist hand he bought.
Online History
On November 14th, 2008 Mike joined Youtube to upload his very first Let's Play of Rocket Knight Adventures.
Then he proceed to make Let's Play videos for other games like "Raid Over Moscow", "Beach-Head", "The Immortal", and "D".
Perhaps one of his most popular Let's Plays and in general, one of his most popular videos comes from his LP of the Japanese only PSX game, "LSD: Dream Emulator".
His entire Let's play has garnered 100 thousands of views and has been one of the first videos of the game. It also inspired other Youtubers to LP the game.
Streaming
In August 2010, Mike decided to stream on let's Play, carving his path to being a full time streamer in the near future His known first Stream was on livestream.
The Trip Nnemonic
On Febuary 11th, 2009 Mike uploaded one of his other famous videos "The Trip Nnemonic", which is of a flash animation made by Leileilol and Mike provided the vocals to the song.
Due to his video, the flash animation got notability around certain 4chan circles.
Full time streaming
In late 2011, Mike has begun to do more streams than Let's Plays, possibly because of his loss of interest in LPing. This marks his transition from a "Let's Player" to a "Streamer".
Mike versus Pewdiepie Fanbase
When Swedish Let's Player, Pewdiepie became more popular, some of his fanbase went after Mike and accusing him of "Ripping off" Pewdiepie for Let's playing games like "Ao Oni", despite there being proof that Mike did it before Pewdiepie. In response of this Mike made videos to troll Pewdiepie and his fanbase.
Surge in stream popularity
In 2012, Mike solidified his Internet persona on Streaming on sites like Twitch. He interacts with his chat and even specific people and take suggestions. This is where he manages to get In-jokes as "Stream characters" and quotes in. Certain chat regulars managed to gain fame within the circle here or in one group of trolls case, infamy. His streams also caused most of the chat regulars to take a shot at streaming. In recent times due to his new job as a trucker, he can't stream as consistently anymore but he manages to do so when he comes back and the other streamers do their own streams until he comes back.
As of Summer 2015 he got back to regular streaming.
Appearance in Lisa: The Painful RPG
One of the more recent noteworthy highlights in Mikes career was that he appeared in the indie RPG, "Lisa" due to him providing money to the games kickstarter. He ended up being the Super Boss of the game and was dubbed "Satan".
