About
Stable Ronaldo, real name Rani Netz, is a YouTuber and Twitch streamer, as well as a member of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team FaZe Clan. Ronaldo's gaming streams gained traction in 2020, initially playing Fortnite against other prominent streamers like NInja. Clips of the streamer have gone widely viral on TikTok due to his humoristic interactions with fans and other gags during his livestreams. In mid-October 2024, Stable Ronaldo and other streamers started a hoax about his death after he was banned from Twitch for the sixth time, with Ronaldo later doing a livestream inside a coffin while friends and fans pretended to mourn his passing.
History
Stable Ronaldo, real name Rani Netz, is an American YouTuber and streamer whose earliest videos feature Fortnite gameplay, posted on his main YouTube channel[1] on October 1st, 2019. The video (seen below) amassed over 167,000 views and 5,300 likes in five years.
The streamer grew popular in mid-2020, as clips from his streams started to go viral on social media, including a clip of him singing Maroon 5's "Payphone," which amassed over 11 million views and 402,000 likes since it was shared on YouTube[2] by @FlucosFR on July 31st, 2020.
On April 16th, 2024, YouTuber[3] @TheTimmyFNBR posted an essay video about Stable Ronaldo's online career (seen below), which received roughly 348,000 views and 7,800 likes in six months.
Online Presence
Ronaldo has gained an expressive following and online presence over the years, especially on TikTok and X, former Twitter. For example, on August 21st, 2024, TikTok[4] user @venvmclips posted a video showing his top 5 Stable Ronaldo clips (seen below), which garnered more than million plays and 157,000 likes in two months.

On October 17th, 2024, X[5] user @scubaryan_ shared a clip of Ronaldo recreating Jack Doherty's McLaren Crash (seen below), which amassed over 438,000 views and 3,200 likes in a week.

Stable Ronaldo Death Hoax
On October 21st, 2024, Stable Ronaldo and his friend, also a streamer, Lacy, started an online death hoax about him getting involved in a car accident after his sixth Twitch ban.[8] X[6] user @yoxics posted a clip from Lacy's stream talking about the prank (seen below), amassing more than 2.5 million views and 18,000 likes in four days.
Lacy breaks down on stream and says that StableRonaldo has unfortunately passed away this morning from a fatal car accident on his way home from his job at 7/11 💔🕊️

On October 22nd, 2024, Ronaldo's team uploaded a video of a fake funeral honoring the streamer on his sub-YouTube channel @StableRonaldoLive,[7] which amassed roughly 93,000 views and 3,700 likes in three days.
