Unus Annus is a YouTube channel started by popular YouTubers Markiplier and CrankGameplays. The channel focuses on the pair doing challenges and goofy stunts. While the content of the channel is not necessarily unique among YouTube personalities, the twist of the channel is that it will be deleted after one year and all the content will be gone ("Unus Annus" translates to "one year" in Latin).

History

On November 15th, 2019, Markiplier and CrankGameplays launched "Unus Annus," a channel that uploads daily but will be deleted after one year of creating videos (first video shown below).

While the first video of the channel has been viewed most, the next most popular videos show Markiplier trying "cupping" therapy (shown below, left) and acupuncture (shown below, right), gaining over 5 and 3.1 million views, respectively.

Online Presence

The channel grew rapidly after its creation. As of February 3rd, 2020, the channel has 2.19 million subscribers.^[1] The channel also has a Twitter account with over 41,000 followers^[2] and an Instagram^[3] with over 61,000 followers, though they are not very active on either account. The channel's subreddit gained over 21,000 subscribers since its creation on November 14th, 2019, where users post memes related to the channel.^[4]
