On November 14th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @itsfrankie13 posted a video with a POV caption that read, "guy who normally orders at the poop deli goes to a normal deli." In the video, @itsfrankie13 and his friends used New York accents to show men asking for poop on their bagels. Over 13 days, the video received roughly 4.9 million plays and 722,100 likes (shown below).

On November 19th, 2023, X^[2] user @LEGOR2D2scream reposted the video, captioning it, "this is my new favorite video," gaining over 23,000 likes in eight days (shown below). The tweet gained viral quotes, like one posted by X^[3] user @65yOld_man on November 20th, who said, "Among the least funny videos I’ve seen in ages. Wow," gaining over 2,900 likes in one week.

On TikTok, users started to add to the Poop Deli meme by posting their own skits about the concept. For instance, on November 20th, 2023, TikToker^[4] @djdoormat posted a video about "guys ordering at the poop deli," gaining over 166,100 plays and 20,900 likes in one week (shown below, left).

On November 24th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @bafoolia posted a POV meme about a "Family that frequents the poop deli sits down for Thanksgiving dinner," gaining over 2.7 million plays and 469,900 likes in three days (shown below, right).
