Retarded Rowdy is an advice animal image macro series featuring a picture of a poorly drawn Rowdy Roadrunner, which is the school mascot of The University of Texas at San Antonio. Captions are often ironic in nature, making a pun on what would typically be considered an entry level (and easily preformed) task.
Origin
The first Retarded Rowdy post (pictured below) appeared on the subreddit /r/AdviceAnimals on October 12th, 2018, from /u/PieCrafted[1] who posted both an example of the meme and the template. The post quickly brought in almost 227,000 views and around 6,000 upvotes (shown below).
