About Ropering or Roper'd is a bait-and-switch practice that involves providing a web link or fake YouTube picture and title supposedly relevant to the topic at hand, but actually re-directs the viewers to The Three's Company first short lived spin-off The Ropers intro leading to them being Roper'd

Origin
The Ropers was a short lived spin-off of Three's Company that aired from March 13, 1979 to May 22, 1980. It stared the landlords of Jack, Janet, and Chrissy. Stanley (Norman Fall) and Helen Roper (Audra Lindley) It was based from British sitcom George and Mildred. On December 19, 2014 YouTube user Herbert Avcadoo posted a video called Kim Jong Un's Death scene from The Interview. People expected it to be the ending from the controversial movie The Interview but it was the intro to The Ropers. As of July 2015 the video has 6,408 views
