About
Rydeen is a song composed by the late musician Yujihiro Takahashi for the Japanese electronic music group Yellow Magic Orchestra. The song has been used in several fan remixes, covers, and OtoMADs/YTPMVs.
Origin
The song first appeared on Yellow Magic Orchestra's second album Solid State Survivor, which first released in Japan on September 25th, 1979. The official music video was posted to YouTube by ALFA MUSIC on June 7th, 2022, where it received over 345,000 views in over seven months.
The song was also used as the theme music for the 1980's Italian game show BIS (shown below, left), and in the SEGA arcade game Super Locomotive (shown below, right).
