About

"Shabnam" is the name of a sporty customer of Middle Eastern descent from the 2012 Nintendo 3DS video game New Style Boutique, who is used in fanon content on the internet.

Origin

The origin of the "Shabnam" character came about when an internet user was playing New Style Boutique at home after her mum brought them the game. Since August 2020, she was featured in many fanon wikis, the first being Fanon Wiki.

Spread

In 2020 onwards, Shabnam went to be featured on fanon content as a British girl who speaks in Cloudcuckoolanguage and loves collecting bows and "nikes". In a YouTube video posted in late 2021, an image of her was talking about her life and what she does. The video was made using the video editing app Wondershare Filmora. The creator of the character has predicted many songs like Gummibar's I'm a Gummy Bear and Atomic Kitten's Whole Again as songs sung by the Character with rewritten lyrics and titles, with some being covers, parodies, and demos. She has also predicted her full name as "Shabnam Melina Rooney", her profession as an "entertainer", etc.
