About

"Sometimes All I Think About Is You" Trend refers to a viral lip dub trend on TikTok set to a slowed + reverb version of the song "Heat Waves" by Glass Animals in which TikTokers lip dup to the lyrics "sometimes all I think about is you" to show that they miss someone when away from them, as described by on-screen text. The trend became popular in late August and early September 2021, and is similar to the There May Be Lovers trend.

Around August 24th, 2021, TikTokers[1][2] began posting lip dub skits where they use on-screen text to present a situation about hiding emotions during a break-up or when away from someone else, then reveal that they miss them by lip dubbing to the lyrics "sometimes all I think about is you" or showing clips of the person they miss over the audio sample (examples from August 24th shown below, left and right). It is unclear who started the trend.
