Origin

On October 4th, 2019, TikTok user @keeley86 uploaded the original video of herself dancing while cooking (shown below). The video gained over 336,900 likes and 18,300 shares in three days.

Spread

On October 5th, 2019, Twitter user @sgtcurrypants shared the video and added the caption, "This lady is me at 2am making baked Mac and cheese because I was hungry" (shown below). The tweet accumulated over 202,600 likes and 44,800 retweets in two days.

The video went on to accumulated over 7.3 million views on Twitter in two days and many Twitter user began adding their own captions. Twitter user @common_face added the caption, "my grandma when i tell her i'm hungry" (shown below). On TikTok, users began dueting the video and many added a thrown silver pot to their video acting as if it was thrown at them.
