History

Originally was a separate studio called Fox Studios and 20th Century Studios, later became 20th Century Fox.

Disney purchased FOX

On December 14, 2017 Walt Disney has agreed to buy the bulk of 21st Century Fox's business for $52.4 in a deal both companies said position them to compete in the rapidly changing media industry.

20th Century Fox Fanfare

The 20th Century Fox Fanfare is a musical piece played to accompany the 20th Century Fox logo when it was displayed during the opening of the movie studio's feature films. The fanfare has been played before each live action Star Wars film, prior to the acquisition of Star Wars by Disney.
