About

American McGee's Alice or the Alice Series is a third-person psychological horror action video game series created by American McGee of Spicy Horse and published by Electronic Arts. Although it's unofficial to Lewis Carroll's Alice, American McGee's Alice take places years after Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. focusing on the protagonist of a older and more darker version of Alice Liddell.

Origin

American McGee's early career begins by working for id Software in 1993 as a tech supporter then later a level designer for the Doom series and Quake series. In 1998 after the release of Quake 2 for the PC, id Software let American go for having served his purpose. He soon got a job at Electronic Arts with Rogue Entertainment to create the cult classic American McGee's Alice. The game was released on December 5th, 2000.
