About
Darkstalkers (also known in Japan as Vampire) is a franchise of fighting video games developed by Capcom, where mythological monsters based on characters in classic horror films fight.
Gameplay
Like many fighting games, the gameplay consists of defeating an opponent controlled by the CPU or another player, either by beating his/her health bar to zero or letting the meter reach zero and having more percentage of the life bar than your opponent. for this the player must use several moves, super moves and combos to damage your opponent and be able to win.
History
The first Darkstalkers game (Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors_) was originally released in Japan in 1994 by Capcom for the CPS II hardware system. In the game, there is the option to choose between 10 different types of monsters. The game was released for the PlayStation in March of 1996 (shown below, left) In March of 1995, the sequel (_Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge) would be released for the arcades, and then a version for the Sega Saturn was released in February of 1996 (shown below, right).
In May of 1997, Capcom released Darkstalkers 3 for the arcades, and in 1998 a version for the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. The game added some new mechanics and altered the roster.

Midnight Bliss
Midnight Bliss is the name of a special move used by the character Demitri Maximoff. In the move, the character will slowly approach to the rival and if the rival is reached, Maximoff will change clothes to appear as the opposite gender. It is an example of Rule 63.
