Goat Simulator 3 is a sequel to the 2014 action video game Goat Simulator developed by Coffee Stain North for Windows, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The game was announced during Summer Game Fest and was released on November 17, 2022, on Epic Games Store [1].
History
On June 9th, 2022, Playstation released a Announcement Trailer [2] of Goat Simulator 3, which parodied the trailer for the game Dead Island 2[3], gaining over 5 Million views in five months (shown below, left). On September 29th, 2022, Coffee Stain released a pre-purchase trailer[4] for the game which for people who pre-purchase between September 29th, 2022 and September 29th, 2023, will receive a skin on Fornite gaining over 11,583 views in 2 months (shown below, right).
On November 17th, 2022, the official launch trailer for the game was released on YouTube [5], gaining over 2.2 million views in two weeks (shown below).
Online Presence
Goat Simulator 3 after released on November, it became popular on YouTube in Let's Play. videos For example, on November 25, 2022, YouTuber SMii7Y[6] posted a video about the game [7], garnering over 2.5 Million views in ehigt days (shown below).
