About

Needy Streamer Overload (also known in Japan as “Needy Girl Overdose”) is a Japanese video game created by Japanese developer Xemono and published by WSS Playground for macOS, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch, and by Alliance Arts Inc. for PS4 and PS5. It centers around a girl trying to become a big live streamer, with the player taking the role of a manager for the girl and in charge of making decisions for her so that she can achieve her goal of reaching one million followers within a month. [1] it was released on January 21, 2022.

Game Overview

The player takes on the role of P-chan, a faceless individual who acts as a producer and manager for Ame, an antisocial and severely mentally unstable girl who wants to be internet famous under her online identity OMGkawaiiAngel (or Kangel for short.) The main objective of the game is to help her reach her goal of a million followers throughout the course of 30 days in order to use the paid donations to pay her rent before she gets evicted. The gameplay consists of the player navigating their PC and interacting with Ame through the interface. Every day, the player will be able to pick from several commands that will allow them to do things with Ame, like playing a game with her, surfing the web, or going outside with her, which can unlock various topic ideas for streaming, which the player can pick during the night to have her do. Each option brings different numbers of followers and bonuses. The player also has to manage her three meters, "stress," "affection," and "mental darkness," which will be affected by both the streams and their choice of activities with Ame. There are various endings that depend on the state of the matter and various choices the player has chosen. There are 27 endings overall. [2]
