About

Paradox Interactive is a video game publisher (and, via Paradox Development Studio, a video game developing company) based in Stockholm, Sweden. It is well-known for it's historical strategy games (like Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings), but it has also published other games like Cities: Skylines.

History

Paradox Development Studio was founded in 1995, and Paradox Interactive (the publishing company, and the Development Stufio's parent company) was founded in 1999[1]. However, according to Paradox, the company "as we know it today" began in 2004[2].
