The spells are shown to have their own internal and interpersonal conflicts, shunning a spell for being "dark magic" and another for being seemingly useless but coming to terms and accepting them in the end. They're even shown to form relationships, fall in love with each other and even have babies with each other. A spell, Narwhal Blast, has a wife who somehoe gives birth to a baby Narwhal blast. The ending implies they're all, dead. Murdered by Star. The only magical creation fo Star that is outright stated by Nefcy to be not dead are some Laser Puppies who she summoed out of thin air and lived outside the wand. The merging of the worlds also, literally shows the humans of Echo Creek being terrorized by non-sapient monsters of Mewni, one person being carried of by a giant spider while Marco and Star look at each other starry-eyed.
