"The Dark Timeline" is a envision map interconnecting multiple timelines that build the lore of Trash Taste, a weekly youtube video podcast under GeeXPlus. It includes multiple memes and edits about the three hosts of the show and their mutual content creators. This entire map has been built slowly over time, where fans included head canon characters, trailers and fan fictions too.

Origin

A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck off the northeast coast of Japan on 16 March 2022. In Episode #95 of the Trash Taste Podcast, the members discuss about the catastrophe and how they experienced it.
Two days after the release of the episode, the user u/TheAndySan created a post in the official Trash Taste subreddit, displaying an edit of Garnt (a.k.a. Gigguk) talking to himself. In the edit, Connor (a.k.a. CDawgVA) and Joey (a.k.a. The Anime Man) are shown frozen, as if they did not survive the recent natural disaster.
The public really enjoyed the meme so much that some fans, after interpreting the behavior of Garnt as a sad host unable to accept the death of his mates, started questioning what would happen next: without any agreement, the majority of the subreddit users slowly started exploring this What If? scenario and envisioned a huge complex lore of the show with multiple realities and timelines crossing each other.

The Map

Since the very first post, a chain reaction started and involved all the community that kept posting their piece of lore (meme, edits, discussions, art, ect…) for a while in the subreddit. The number of upvotes was the criteria to officially enter in the timeline: the higher, the better.
Reddit user u/Samujagi has uploaded a post containing a full quality image illustrating the entirety of the timeline that has officially reached an end.
