On July 16th, 2018, Twitter [1] user @datboyocho tweeted the video under the mock conversation "Her: I’m not giving you head unless you eat my pussy first Me:" The post (shown below) received more than 40,000 retweets and 94,000 likes in eight days.


Spread

Over the next two days, people began sharing @dayboyocho's video clip, which has more than 18 million views in eight days, and adding their own captions. The following day, on July 17th, Twitter[2] user @QueenCey_ tweeted the video with the caption "Popeyes: Its gonna be a 10 minute wait for spicy Me:" The post (shown below, left) received more than 40,000 retweets and 84,000 likes in one week.

On July 18th, Twitter[3] tweeted the video with the caption "'Delete my number and stop talking to me, we done.' Me:" The post (shown below, right) received more than 30,000 retweets and 45,000 likes in six days.

The next day, the Twitter[4] account for Sharpe's show tweeted a variation of the meme. The post (shown below) received more than 2,800 retweets and 6,500 likes in five days.

Several media outlets covered the meme, including USA Today,[5] The Daily Dot, [6] BET[7] and more.
