The Caillou Cancer Theory refers to a Theory based on the Canadian animated Tv series, Caillou. The theory is based on the question on why Caillou is bald, as such, one of the main theories is that Caillou had Cancer during the entire series.

Origin
Unknown

Spread
The theory of Caillou being bald because of Cancer spread to different news websites. An example of this was in May 11, 2017, an article by conspiracies.net[1] mentioned the theory. They mentioned that Caillou could've had Cancer and was in purgatory during the show.

Debunked
On December 8, 2015, An article by Huffpost[2] made an article titled "Why is Caillou Bald?" In it, they debunked the theory by saying that Caillou is bald because in the original book series (which the show is based off), Caillou was drawn as a young baby, but as he got older, the illustrators didn't want people to not recognize him, so he was kept bald (shown below).

"The TV series “Caillou” was actually based on a much younger character from an illustrated children’s book. In the story, Caillou was drawn as a nine-month-old baby. As he got older, publishers decided that giving the character hair would make him unrecognizable, so they decided to keep him bald."
