ТРИ ПОЛОСКИ, also known as Tri Poloski or Tripaloski refers to a popular song created by Russian artist Davay. Alongside the song, a music video was released. Due to the strange dance moves featured in the video, the song received lots of notoriety and parodies, while the song itself became a prime example of Russian hardbass.

Origin

On February 1st, 2016, artist Davay released a Hardbass track known as "Tri Poloski". This song's first release was on YouTube along with a music video, with a video titled "ТРИ ПОЛОСКИ / KOLM TRIIPU / THREE STRIPES" (shown below), while other releases came out later.[1] The music video consists of a cast of dancers roaming around an abandoned warehouse while holding various weapons and holding bottles of beer. The dance used in the video would be used online for parodies. As of May 19th, 2018, this video has over 23 million views.[2]



Spread

On January 17th, 2017, YouTuber HoboxFootball uploaded a Polish Parody to the song, which would amass over 1.3 million views as of May 19th, 2018 (shown below, left).[3] On February 2nd, 2017, Spanish YouTuber elrubiusOMG uploaded a video titled "THE CURSED GIFT FROM YOUTUBE", which features El Rubius receiving a Russian piece of clothing from YouTube, which gets him possessed into dancing to Tri Poloski. As of May 19th, 2018, this video has over 17.7 million views and 1.4 million likes (shown below, left).[4]



Two days later, on February 4th of 2017, YouTube user Egoman!! uploaded a video in which the song is overlayed on top on dance party footage. This video has over one million views (shown below, left).[5] On February 27th, 2017, YouTuber Much Shit uploaded a parody using mannequin heads to dance along to the song (shown below, right). As of May 19th, 2018, this video has over 450,000 views.[6]



On June 5th, 2018, Landfall introduced Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, a multiplayer battle royale video game that features "Tri Poloski" provided the character is wearing a tracksuit (shown below).
