About

Uh-Uh Man, Not My House! refers to a scene from Breaking Bad where Walter White tells Jesse Pinkman that he's going to drive their mobile meth lab to his house, resulting in Jesse shouting back, "Uh-uh man, not my house!" When Jesse says "house," Walter yells "shut up" at the same time, making the word "house" sound distorted and loud. The scene was uploaded to TikTok in May 2022 and went viral in the following months as an original sound in lip dub skits.

Origin

In Breaking Bad season one episode two, "Cat's in the Bag…," Bryan Cranston's Walter White suggests to Jesse (played by Aaron Paul) that they move their mobile meth lab, housed in an RV, to Jesse's house. Jesse doesn't like the idea and yells, "Uh-uh man, not my house!" Walter yells at Jesse, "Shut up," saying "shut" at the same time as "house," causing the words to somewhat mashup and "house" to sound distorted and loud. The clip was uploaded to TikTok[1] on May 7th, 2022, garnering over 361,000 views in five months (shown below).
