Walking Back to the Target Bathroom to Rewipe My Ass has become a series of TikTok parody videos based on the copypasta scenario of walking funny due to an inefficient wipe.

Origin

On October 25th, 2018, Redditor MrColty5 post an image of Spongebob Squarepants walking funny to the OKBuddyRetard ^[1] subreddit. The image was coupled with the text "Me Walking Back to the Target bathroom to rewipe my ass" (shown below). The post gained 850 points (99% upvoted) in five months.

Spread

On November 8th, 2018 YouTuber Wetzelmation uploaded an animation of Patrick Star paired with a robotic voice that says the line "This is me walking back to the Target Bathroom to rewipe my ass" (shown below). The video gained 44.500 views and 4,100 likes in three months.

On December 19th, Redditor PinkiminaPie posted an image of John Lennon to /r/OkBuddyRetard^[2]. The caption reads, "me walking back to the Target bathroom to rewipe my ass (shown below, left). The post accumulated 1,200 points (99% upvoted) in three months. On February 4th, 2019, YouTuber Brandonares uploaded a TikTok parody video that garnered 2,500 views in a month. The parody uses Wetzelmation's audio in videos of people pretending to return to the Target Bathroom to rewipe their behind.

Tik Tok user Mackenzie_Jewell uploaded the audio clip and the first TikTok parody video (shown below). The video gained 51,200 likes and 3,091 shares and the audio clip has been used in 10,900 videos as of March 11th.
