"We're Gonna Be Talking About The Penis!" is a scene from Beavis and Butthead episode "No Laughing (Part 2)." The scene became a source for several YTP-styled edits in 2021.

Origin

The episode "No Laughing (Part 2), which originally aired on June 2nd, 1993 on MTV, has Beavis and Butthead ordered to not laugh by Principal McVicker, or else they risk expulsion from the school. Later that day they have to face a sexual education course by Coach Buzzcut, in which they struggle to not laugh as the coach goes over various sexual terms. This clip (reupload shown below) was uploaded to YouTube on July 7th, 2020, by "Classickiller69 1", and has over 90,000 views.

Spread

On November 6th, 2009, SkyBlueFox1 posted an edit of the scene to YouTube in which all the sexual terms were changed to "penis". The video (shown below) has over 40,000 views.

In late May 2021 another edit was made in which each time Coach Buzzcut said the word "penis" a Vine Boom sound effect would occur. The earliest known instance of this edit was on May 20th, 2021. This video, posted by Sploogis, has over 35,000 views (shown below, left). A similar clip with higher quality video was posted to YouTube on May 21st, 2021, by Yoshie27 (shown below, right). This video has over 18,000 views.
