The What Is Your Weakness? Quiz or What Is My Weakness? Quiz is a personality test that highlights the supposed weakest mental trait of the participant, alluding to possible exploitation of that weakness by someone intelligent. It was made on the site uQuiz by creator SeahorseGhost in 2022. Then, it became prominent on TikTok within Russian speaking circles on the app, translating to Какая Твоя Слабость? The quiz then spread to English-speaking users in mid-2022 alongside other trends like the Mental Age Test. Amid the trend, many TikTokers shared their test results with the song "Lost" by CRIM3S.

Origin

The "What Is Your Weakness?" quiz was created on the site uQuiz^[1] by user SeahorseGhost sometime in late June or early July 2022. TikTokers adopted the quiz for their content starting in early July 2022. This started within Russian-speaking circles on the app. On July 8th, 2022, TikToker^[2] lizaxsss was the first to reference the quiz which in Russian reads, "Какая Твоя Слабость?" Lizaxsss' TikTok received roughly 94,200 plays and 11,300 likes in 17 days (shown below).

Spread

On July 9th, 2022, many more Russian-speaking TikTokers added to the trend and used the same sound as lizaxsss which was the intro to the song "Lost" by CRIM3S.^[3] For instance, TikToker^[4] ks__yusha shared a "Какая Твоя Слабость?" video, earning roughly 260,900 plays and 27,100 likes in 16 days (shown below, left). Also, TikToker^[5] elka.yaa shared a "Какая Твоя Слабость?" video, earning roughly 103,600 plays and 12,200 likes in 16 days (shown below, right).

On July 11th, 2022, TikToker^[6] stalkmesomewhereelse uploaded the first-known instance of an English-speaking creator exploiting the quiz, earning roughly 5,400 plays and over 855 likes in two weeks (shown below, left). On July 12th, 2022, TikToker^[7] e.skodovaa posted one of the first viral instances of an English-speaking creator exploiting the quiz. Over the course of two weeks, it received roughly 16,800 plays and 2,800 likes (shown below, right).
