Apparently, I am the only Yoshi who lives faithfully to the word of the Lord. That is why I often have to give words of admonition to the others in the flock. They sometimes allow themselves to be tempted to do rather shameful things. Unfortunately, the others never listen to me; quite the opposite, they even hid me somewhere on the island. And I just wanted to explain to them that I had seen the light... 1 Traditional Bavarian/Austrian greeting, literally "may God greet you". Used in these regions as a general greeting, instead of "good day". Likely used here to underscore the White Yoshi's religious nature. 2 In this guide, all Yoshis repeatedly refer to themselves as having fur.
