You Wanna Have a Bad Tom? refers to a quote from an Undertale parody video which became used in remix videos on YouTube. The line is a parody of the line "You're Gonna Have a Bad Time" from the game.

Origin

The quote comes from a video posted by Sr Pelo titled "Underpants – Genocide Ending (APRIL FOOLS)," posted to YouTube on March 31st, 2016 (shown below, left). The video gained over 7.2 million views. On April 3rd, user Gamer Strike posted the "You Wanna Have a Bad Tom?" clip isolated, gaining over 300,000 views (shown below, right).

Spread

After the clip was posted, YouTubers began using the audio in various remixes and animations. For example, an animation posted YaarTheGod on August 16th, 2018 gained over 28,000 views (shown below, left). User Cooly568 uploaded a Source Filmmaker animation of the clip, gaining over 1.4 million views (shown below, right).

Remixes featuring the line include an Ear rape version of the moment posted by althairs that gained over 15,000 views (shown below, left) and a 10 hour remix of a part of the original video posted by The Fraggable Krunk gained over 800,000 views (shown below, right).
