Zendaya and Chalamet Stare refers to a video clip created by Entertainment Weekly featuring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya in which the two follow a camera with their eyes as it swings around them. Meant to promote the film Dune, the clip was joked about as if the two actors were judging the poster.

On October 13th, 2021, Entertainment Weekly[1] posted a clip of actors Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet staring at a camera (shown below).


Spread

The clip was shared on October 13th, 2021 by the @FilmUpdates[2] Twitter account, where it spread as people began quote-tweeting it with jokes about how the two actors appeared judgmental and snooty. User @JesseASparks joked, "This is how American Apparel employees used to look at you for having the audacity to enter the store," gaining over 6,600 retweets and 70,000 likes in two days (shown below, top). User @jaimerosedee made a similar joke, writing, "this is how the sales assistants look at me when i walk into urban outfitters," gaining over 90 retweets and 1,700 likes (shown below, bottom).
