A 4-year-old Brooklyn boy placed his family in an unusual predicament after using Amazon to purchase $2,600 worth of SpongeBob popsicles.

According to the New York Post, Noah Bryant saw an opportunity and took it, purchasing 918 SpongeBob popsicles on what was presumably an unguarded Amazon account. The Post included a picture of Noah looking extremely "guilty" for his spending spree.

Amazon refused to refund the popsicles, leaving Noah—or more accurately, his mother Jennifer—in a $2,600 hole. However, family friend Katie Schloss set up a GoFundMe for the Bryants, writing, "As (truly!) adorable as this story is, Jennifer Bryant, Noah’s mom, is a social work student at NYU (we took Policy I together) and simply cannot afford this. Amazon will not take back the popsicles, and Ms. Bryant, mom to 3 boys, doesn't know how she's going to be able to pay this off, in addition to student loans and all of her family's other expenses."

The campaign reached its $2,619 goal in less than 24 hours and is at the time of writing at $6,600. Jennifer Bryant stated that Noah is autistic, and the extra funds will go to Noah's education and additional support.

As the story spread around Twitter, users were tickled at Noah's gumption and his years-worth of popsicles.
