The year of people dropping massive amounts of money for figuratively nothing and literally nothing continued last night when a McDonald's chicken McNugget shaped like an Among Us crewmate sold on eBay for nearly $100,000.

The seller, polzina, opened bidding at 99 cents last week, and the Sus McNugget gathered 184 bids before closing at a whopping $99,997. It will be shipped frozen and air-sealed with a packet of Szechuan Sauce.

As one might expect, social media was bewildered (and perhaps a little jealous) that a person made nearly a hundred grand selling a chicken McNugget.

Well, bidding finally closed for the BTS Among US mcnugget

Including shipping, it sold for just over $100k

The Among Us McNugget sold for $100 more than the Harambe Cheeto, which sold for $99,000 back in 2017.
