Montaisha Shanell, the girlfriend of Florida rapper Kodiyakredd (aka Franky Venegas), better known as one of the Island Boys, has accused the rapper of assault in a now-deleted series of Instagram posts.

The Instagram drama page Def Noodles reposted the screenshots, as well as captures from an Instagram Live stream that same night where she's seen deeply breathing and crying against a bathroom door, hand on the nob as if to keep someone out. A woman can be heard calling to her in the background offering support.

In the post, Shanell wrote, "YALL WANNA BE AN ' ISLAND GIRL SO BADDDDD ' GO AHED AN BE ONE. Lemme show you WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE AN ISLAND GIRL BEAT ON EVERYDAY TREATED LIKE NOTHING. DONT BELIEVE THE FAIRYTALE THEY SELL YOU."

Kodiyakredd and his twin brother Flyysoulja went viral late last year with a freestyle hot-tub rap about being an island boy that was lauded as both catchy and terrible. The viral hit quickly skyrocketed the two tattoo-covered Florida boys to the mainstream, although the welcome has been anything but warm.

In the months since their viral hit, the boys have been booed off stage, doused with beer at the Jake Paul fight and recently stormed off of the Impaulsive podcast. These, however, all pale in comparison to the assault accusations against Kodiyakredd, real name Franky Venegas.

This isn't the first time Shanell (@montaisha) has accused Venegas of abuse. In fact, there are multiple videos showing abuse between the two in some form, often captured on Instagram Live. In April, YouTuber Bigchoppa Tv posted a capture of one of her Instagram Live streams showing Kodiyakredd crying in the car as Shanell punches at him, telling him to look at her split lip, accusing him of causing it. Later in the video, which has over 300,000 views at the time of writing, you can see her split lip clearly.

Another reupload of an Instagram Live from that month shows Venegas screaming at her. In a September upload showing yet another of Shanell's Instagram Live streams, she talks about how Venegas beats her.

In another disturbing livestream reposted to YouTube, seemingly recorded in late December 2021, Shanell tells her viewers that Venegas beats her "every day," saying if they want to support him that's cool, but she's done. She also says she's done biting her tongue on the abuse and "selling a lie" to people. Venegas has not officially responded to the accusations.
