MrBeast's "MrBeast Burgers" are certainly beasts of burgers (and not in a complimentary way), and the YouTube titan has apparently had enough.

In 2020, James "MrBeast" Donaldson partnered with Virtual Dining Concepts, a company that specializes in the use of "ghost kitchens" owned by other establishments to create branded meals for delivery. At the time, diners in the media conceded that the MrBeast Burger was fine, if overpriced, but in recent months, that standard of quality has not been met.

According to a report from Bloomberg, MrBeast is now suing Virtual Dining Concepts for producing "disgusting," "revolting" and "inedible" burgers with his name slapped on them.

The lawsuit alleges that Virtual Dining Concepts ignored reviews lambasting the burgers and MrBeast's own expressed concerns about quality control in an effort to rapidly expand its business and pitch it to other celebrities.

It expressly mentions a popular Reddit post that showed the MrBeast burger was "mostly just raw meat."

The lawsuit states that because MrBeast's name is on the product, he is being blamed for the poor quality of the burgers. He alleges that Virtual Dining Concepts have done "irreparable harm" to his brand and reputation.

A week prior to the lawsuit's filing, MrBeast publicly lamented that he was stuck in his contract with Virtual Dining Concepts and that it "hurt his soul" to see the backlash against MrBeast Burgers. He maintained that for that reason, he is not giving up control of another of his food brands, "Feastables" (although it too has had its own share of controversy).
